This companion blog series shares Gerry’s top insights and includes the full video for those wishing to go deeper. Through various examples and anecdotes, he will discuss the benefits of being a beneficial presence and how it can improve our relationships, mental health, and overall quality of life. Join him on this journey to discover how taking the road less traveled can lead to a happier and more fulfilling life.

Change Your Polarity

When we become a more positive influence and beneficial presence in the world, our lives become more fulfilling. This involves shifting polarity from being the receiver to the giver. The true essence of life lies in the art of giving. The media, government, and specific entertainment paradigms lead us to believe that material possessions are the key to happiness. However, transitioning to a giving mindset makes us feel more fulfilled, connected, and part of something much more significant.

Commit 100%

Becoming a beneficial presence takes a significant amount of time and effort. To put it into perspective, mastering skills such as playing basketball, leading an orchestra, becoming a potter, building a company, or building a community requires approximately ten years of dedicated practice. Although there are ways to speed up or slow down this process, it generally takes a decade to completely change one's polarity and become a valuable presence.

If you've undergone a soul merger and wish to change your polarity, the first step is to determine the percentage of your potential you aim to achieve. Personally, I always strive for 100% because I want to utilize all my abilities to have the maximum impact on the people around me and improve their lives. Remember, if you put in a 70% effort, you'll only receive a 70% outcome. Therefore, ask yourself how badly you want to make the change and commit accordingly. In sports like basketball, you won't make a basket or score a goal unless you put in 100% effort. Giving only 90% effort will result in you missing the mark and losing motivation. Without any success, we start to believe that our goals are unattainable. This is why it's essential to check in with yourself and determine how much effort you're willing to put in. If it's less than 100%, don't even start because it means you're not fully committed. The art of it all lies in the process of becoming a more positive influence on the world. As an example, Rythmia is my magnum opus. It represents the culmination of all my learnings and experiences, which have been poured into this project. It is a complete act of self-giving.

Surrender to the Result

It's important not to give in to your feelings. For instance, if you don't feel like exercising, practicing piano, painting, or setting goals, don't let these feelings control you. Instead, strive to do everything to the best of your ability and seek out all the help and support you need. If you fail, learn from your mistakes and try again. Surrendering means not giving up, no matter the outcome. It means persevering and working hard while also learning from both your successes and failures. This is the key to success - after making mistakes and learning from them, you will find that being in flow becomes easier.

Tie Up Loose Ends

There is a belief that some people are born with exceptional abilities, known as savants, which they acquired in their past lives and brought to this one. However, this is a rare occurrence. For most of us, learning is a gradual process that involves gaining knowledge from different experiences and role models. One of the most significant lessons I learned is that misfortunes often happen when we leave doors open for them. This is why we need to be constantly vigilant and careful about what we do. It's our responsibility to close any doors that are left open while maintaining a positive attitude, which is challenging but necessary.

There’s No Alternative!

Making a 100% commitment becomes easier when you convince yourself that there are no other alternatives. Once you commit, be aware that this is your choice and you are sticking with it. The manifestation of the creative process works with complete commitment. You need to make yourself believe that there are no other options available. If you look at the most successful people in history, they always put everything they had into one thing and never gave up.

Everything material can be replaced, but time and people are irreplaceable. They are the most important things in life. Once you realize this, you'll be more inclined to make decisions that come from the heart and choose to be a more positive and beneficial presence in the world.
