In Their Own Words
Hear how a first-time plant medicine experience at Rythmia took Shriniva far deeper than he anticipated, lifting a weight he hadn't fully recognized and leaving him with a level of mental clarity he had never felt before.
I came here with a very specific intention of getting over a heartbreak and what I learned which was really interesting is that there was so much more to heal than just that heartbreak. The biggest overarching theme of my week was self-love and being able to heal my heart again. You know I had been very distanced from my soul and who I actually was for a very long time and it was really this week that I was able to understand that not only had that impacted me through my life but that was also hurting the people that I love the most unintentionally and coming to that realization was life-changing. I am very new to all of this. I'm very new to plant medicine. I'm very new to this way of thinking and I understand that traditionally it's done in a you know in a jungle environment. It wasn't something that really resonated with me and I knew that if I was going to at least get introduced to it I had to do it in somewhat of a familiar setting. The most familiar setting I could find. That being said also because I have friends that actually came to rid me up to do this and their feedback was nothing but incredible. Their life changed only for the best as they said. The recommendations were so positive that I was willing to give it a shot. I think everyone has been saying this so this is not uncommon but I feel super light. I feel like there's been a huge burden taken off my body and I also feel very mentally clear. I thought that after this week I was going to be very clouded and you know too many thoughts and that is the case I have a lot to process but I feel like I've never had no clarity about what I want to do in life and how I want to live. One of my friends texted me asking, hey have you made any new ayahuasca friends and I said it feels like I've found a family like a certain kind of family where we all saw each other in the most vulnerable state that we've ever been and in the most honest version of ourselves. I mean it's incredible I've only known them for four or five days and it's like I know their lives and they don't mind because we opened up to each other the way that we don't open up to people that we've known even all our life you know even to like our own families and I have a strong feeling that we're going to be in each other's lives for the foreseeable future.
